Dr. Adrian Eberle

Managing Partner

Adrian Eberle studied at the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland, and graduated with an engineering degree (dipl. Masch. Ing.) in 1997. In parallel to his work, he obtained a PhD in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in 2004.

In 1998, he joined the privately held Swiss aviation and aerospace company SR Technics as Purchasing Manager. His career as a strategy consultant started in 2001 at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he soon got promoted to Project Manager. From 2004, he was appointed Vice President of the world-leading manufacturer of construction equipment, the Liechtenstein based Hilti AG, where he was head of Marketing and Communication Switzerland. In 2008, Adrian joined DKSH, the leading Distribution Company in Asia as President of DKSH Taiwan. Under his leadership, Taiwan developed into one of the strongest profit growth contributors. In recognition of his abilities, Adrian was promoted in 2010 to the Group Executive Board and global Head of Business Unit Technology, managing 1’400 people and 19 countries – a position he held until 2013 when he co-founded Asia Dynamics. From 2014-2016, parallel to his role as managing partner at Asia Dynamics, he worked for Bain & Company as a special advisor for Asia related projects.

 

Adrian Eberle is also a founding partner of Value Dynamics AG, which provides strategic and operational support to wealthy families and entrepreneurs with their own offices in Zurich and São Paulo with regard to their entrepreneurial direct investments.

Adrian serves as a Trustee of the Pestalozzi Foundation and acts as a special advisor to the Berghilfe. Additionally, he’s a Lieutenant-Colonel in the Army Staff of the Swiss Army.

Prof. Dr. Daniel Corsten

Daniel Corsten serves as Professor of Operations & Technology Management at IE Business School in Madrid and as a private Lecturer at University of St. Gallen. He was formerly a Visiting Associate Professor of Operations & Technology Management at London Business School. He also taught and researched at the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia), INSEAD (Singapore and Fontainebleau) and Bocconi University (Milan).

Daniel is member of the prestigious Supply Chain Thought Leaders Roundtable. His research appeared in Management Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Marketing and Journal of Operations Management, in managerial journals such as Harvard Business Review and the International Commerce Review and was mentioned among others in the Financial Times, Bloomberg Business, India Times, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. He is the author of several books on supply chain management.

He also consulted and researched with Fortune 500 companies such as ABB, Agentrics, BASF, Bayer, Brammer, Coloplast, Daimler, Danone, Metro, Microsoft, Nestlé, Procter & Gamble, SAP, Swisscom, UBS and Unilever. Daniel is a Director of Inflexionpoint Aquisition Corporation, an Asia-based IT supply chain company and majority owner of Iris Computers in New Delhi and Dragon Electronics in Singapore as well as Chairman of Lake Geneva Groupe, a global consulting and executive education company. He is an advisor of the Swiss Railroad Operating Division and Profitect Inc, a Massachusetts-based retail IT-Big Data firm.

Dr. Barbara Eberle-Haeringer

Barbara Eberle-Haeringer studied Business Management with major in Finance and Banking at the University of Zurich and Université de Lausanne (HEC). During her PhD she worked as a Research Assistant at the Swiss Banking Institute of the University of Zurich, where she was a Lecturer and published articles and book chapters. After completing her PhD she joined the Strategic Advisory Group at Pictet & Cie.

In 2008 she moved to Taiwan and started her Mandarin studies at the National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei. 2010 she joined UBS Taipei and was responsible for Business Development of UHNW Taiwan Domestic.

In 2011 she continued her Mandarin studies at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. After moving back to Switzerland she co-founded Asia Dynamics, of which she is a member of the board and the management team together with Adrian.

She is a founder of the Alumni Finance Club of the University of Zurich and an active member in the OEC Alumni Mentoring program, where she coaches Chinese students. She was also a Lecturer at the Fernfachhochschule Schweiz for many years and serves on the board of the Gönnerverein kispex, Kanton Zurich. Barbara is a former president of the Swiss Association of Taiwan. She is fluent in German, English, French and Mandarin.

Angel Weng

Angel Weng

Angel Weng has acquired a master’s degree of European and Asia Business Management in University of Zurich in 2020, and a bachelor’s degree with majoring in Economics from Simon Fraser University in Canada in 2001.

She has a wealth of professional experience in various sectors. She began her career at the International Commercial Bank of Cathay in Vancouver and later worked at ABN Amro in Taipei, followed by roles at City Alliance Development Corporation and Standard Chartered Bank Taiwan. At Standard Chartered Bank, she served as a Relationship Manager, responsible for business development, client relationship management, and credit risk management. She was also entrusted by the bank to work at the Shanghai office, overseeing China/Taiwan cross-border business cases for the Middle Market Corporate Department.

Following her professional banking experiences, she transitioned to the Super Fortune Group as an International Marketing Manager. The Super Fortune Group is a renowned Taiwanese company, serving as a market leader in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors, representing numerous international companies.

Since January 2020, she has been working as a consultant for Asia Dynamics AG, where she manages our Chinese-speaking business partners and contacts, among other responsibilities.

She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Taiwanese, and is currently learning German and French.
